Wait, do I need a Serial Number for Tiberian Sun? I thought it was free to play?
Tiberian Sun requires a serial number if you are wanting to play ranked games, playing non ranked games is free! To participate in Ladder games, you can use a serial from a newly bought game, or by purchasing an account from the Control Panel. Online Ladders for Tiberian Sun can be found on the XWIS Website.

EA Have NOT Released Red Alert 2 as Freeware. It is not Free to Play. It requires a LEGAL, UNSHARED Serial Number, i.e from a newly bought game case. NOT from the internet. You can purchase a Red Alert 2 Account from the XWIS Control Panel. Or alternatively a Serial number can be bought from SerialCafe both of which allow them selves to take 24 hours to process. (normally less).We recommend using the following install instructions:

- Invalid Password when logging into XWIS servers- Use the XWIS password supplied in the Control Panel.
- Serial Registered Already- The serial number entered has already been registered to a Strike-Team account. One Serial per account.
- Fatal String Error - Run game.exe as adminstrator/and right click the game.exe and select compatibility mode for Windows Xp SP(X)/98.
- Password Not Remembering when selecting 'Remember Me' in Game - Run the game as Administrator by right clicking game.exe and selecting 'Run as Administrator'.
- I have a Black Screen/Major connection problems/Reconnection Errors/Disconection Errors - Remove the Lan Patch file from your Game Directory 'wsock32.dll'.
- Cheating is forbidden on XWIS, please read the server rules before continuing to play.
- How do I report a cheater? Click Here for more detailed information on reporting cheaters.
- Fetching Server List? Go to Start > Run and type C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. Hit enter, open it up with Notepad and clear any westwood related entries in there. Save and retry.
